C1 + AW16G

I got 2 Studio projects C1 mics about a year and a half ago. And this year I just got a AW16G 16 track recorder. I have used the C1s with a fair bit of kit and the AW16G, but never together!
OH!
The G is great with synths and bass direct recorded, but sounded pants with guitar (Gretsch).
Drums were not an issue as the drumer plays roland pads.
I just ran through a couple of tunes tonight with David playing acoustic bass and me playing flamenco guitar, with one of my C1s capturing the recording and I was in heaven!
