Kinky Records

Any one know how I could remove some rather alarming bends in some records I got this weekend, they don't appear to be affecting the arm or cart but it looks scary!

May I re-stress the word LOW. A friend of mine lost a one-of-a-kind record by having the oven on something higher than "warm". Try the sun first; if that doesn't work, then use the oven.

If you have a gas oven, take note to see if the pilot light already has it warm enough. If not - use the lowest setting you can possibly get with the oven still on. Let it get up to temp before you put the LP-wich in - does it feel the right temp to you?
