Next step and other bits and bobs?!?

CD5, Nait 5, Dynaudio 40, Cable Talk Talk3.1, Atacama SE24 stands and a very, very cheap rack (let's just say the IKEA Corras would be an upgrade).

Hi folks,
I bought the Dynaudios a month or so back (second hand so run in) and from the first listen they've sounded good but, well 'quiet', like the amp doesn't have enough ooomf to drive them properly.

I know the next thing should be NACA5 and it will be ASAP. BTW my local Audio-T wants £7.50 per metre but I thought the going rate was cheaper than that. Anyone know?

I'm expecting an improvement after the NACA5 upgrade but what should be next to help with the power of the sound. Would a FlatCap2 help with the power and if so how would that work as I thought it was just an external power supply not a power amp?

My speakers are attached to the stands with blu tack but I noticed that the stands can take top spikes - would it be worth investing in a couple of sets and if so where would I get them from assuming not all spikes are universal?
The stands are spiked on 10p coins on a real wood veneered floor, is this good enough or would I need to get some sort of slab to sit them on?

Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance

Dave

Hello Dave,
not much time for long answers
yes to NACA5
try and find a second hand hicap, servicable, and awesome (maybe two)
I have a friend who spiked his dynaudios and this is recommended too! These speakers I think are also very power hungry. My friend has an old 250. Sorry nait may be struggling if you like it loud.
