Changing the way of stars rating

Posted by: Arye_Gur on 05 August 2002

There are times when I think that a one bored member is rating the threads as a fun for him.

I think that Naim have to write a program that will rate the threads only if there ia a minimum number of responses and only if more than a given number of percent of the responses are rating the threads.

I think that no rates is a better situation than making the rates a fun to one or two members.

There are times when even I start rating threads. How come there are no minus scores? I'd like to give this thread minus 5, please.

Table of rating -

***** - A thread that tells how great Naim is.
***** - A thread that deals about
Round/flat Earth, especially if the thread compares between these two.
***** - A thread that tells how good Mana is
***** - A thread that deals with the importance of source first.

3 to 0 stars all the other threads, depands on how good was the last night to the member who rates (this is a guess - as many times I can't think of some other reason), or how does the idea of the poster matches the idea of the one who rates.

To my opinion, the way of rating here makes a joke of this system.

P.S ***** to all threads on the 24 of December each year ...

Arye, no one honestly takes it seriously apart from you! It comes with the Infopoop software package, it's a gimmick. Just ignore it and be happy.

(Had an uneventful night yesterday, but I still can't seem to get the rating on this thread down, no matter how often I click on "1 Star -- worst".)

Vuk: That's because Arye has stuffed it with a pile of 5s already.

Of course -- I had entirely ruled out the possiblity of Arye being just as clever as myself.

Thanks for the clicks, I think it's budged already ...
