Ok so I've probably missed this before too, in an old thread, maybe even posted in it myself, but nevermind....
Anyone fancy sharing their favourite holiday snaps.....
Here's a few of mine from our visit to Malaysia seeing family a few years ago....
Cheers,
Ali

I used Photoshop - it was not a panorama I cut out the bird image from 3 of the pictures - including the water to pick up the reflection of the bird and then placed them on the master image making sure that the waterline was more or less constant - as the image was not wide enough for the number of birds I added a bit of back ground to increase the width.
Why did I do this - I like the individual poses of the birds but when printed one bird on a sheet is quite boring so I add several in to the image make the print more interesting. I also do it for flight shots of birds - perhaps use 3 or 4 images and then duplicate some up and then place them on the print.
Ok so it is sad - but I consider it to be for "consenting adults in private" <g> - so far I have not "frightened any horses" <g>

Works for me Derek. I just wish I had the patience to learn the techniques.

Tony - just give up work and then you get time to learn "useful" stuff <g>
The more I stumble into Photoshop the more I realise that know nothing about the product.
Any way - thanks for looking at the pics.

Just a cheap scan of a print from last year's trip to Zambia. Victoria Falls at their highest flow since the late '50s.

COOL.....

Yep, cool and deafening! We must go back during the dry season though. Most of the time the falls were obscured by mist which hit us like the hardest rain I've ever experienced!

A kingfisher taking off over the Zambezi. More luck than judgement by the way!
