Indeed, much better to hide out in the Prince of Wales or the Old School House, both nicely situated just out of sight of Union St., slightly more civilized, and much better beer. The other thing about Aberdeen, how come we have no Naim dealer! Oh well, I'm only up here half the time and not for much longer, and my other dwelling is a mere 14miles from the Sound Org in York, so I can get my Naim fix there!

Oh and I can't believe no one's come out with the old Navy toast here!

To wives and sweethearts... ...May they never meet! Big Grin

Girlfriends and wives will never tell me what I can and cant buy in hifi!

I wear the trousers in my house!

ps-if any of you ever meet my boyfriend a Sondek/Ittock/Troika combo can often be found for £100... Winker

I have missed something important here, so there is a difference in the listening depending on who has the trousers on, please be more specific this can be the next big topic for better tweaking!

When my girlfriend moved some years ago wha actually got a whole Naim system sh really cheap a Naim cd do not know wich it was, an 82 and a 200. It took me about 6 or 7 years until I got as much Naim gear here as she has, but finally I succeeded over the last few years grin!

Anybody up for the post of future girlfriend has to like music no doubt about it!

Really? I haven't really been exploring much up here, I drove up the A90 the first time I came up and thought, "if I drive up and down here too often I'm going to loose my drivers license". That road has more speed cameras than cats eyes! That and the fact that driving for seven hours is tiring mean the car gets left in Yorkshire!

Very true, Coney St. is great fun, York seems to get more than its fair share of attractive women!

Well, it is an understatement.
Voltaire was understating the system's value
