That was a Wodka Mass! At the second day of Partying at the Wedding I went to in Poland last summer. I think if the uncle of the groom had blessed me and given me bread it could hardly have been more appropriate!
The set is absolutely glorious! I have part of Verdi's Requiem on at the moment off the radio from a recording done by the Barvarian Radio. It is enough for me to want to get a proper Cd of it again! Fantastic! It has been issued!
I have a visitor on Sunday who actually wants to have a listen! I must sort my room out first!
In fact that is a give away isn't it!
ATB from George

Peter ! It was a great three days. Something to remember all my life. That and carting Munch's LP 12 from Warsaw to Krackow and then to you by bus, train, plane, and eventually car! Happy days can still be had, but I think that is in all ways a very right and nice photo! It exactly caught the mood. I was relishing my time, and was made so very welcome, by such very kind people.
Nice to exchange words.
George.

That will make you faster, get a wiff and you can laugh about too. Actually both products might make you laugh.

Enforced hilarity.

Adam,
And am I supposed to laugh at that?

No - that would be cruel. One should laugh "with" it.

Is that sometimes, often or both Gianluigi?
Perhaps you are trying to show your feminine side by changing your mind,
& mid-sentence at that!

Not so far.
PS: at 3 months you still were a little girl.

You are assuming I am male; how typical of a man!
Please tell me somthing I don't know ...

Calm yourself Gianluigi!
I didn't state wether I am male or female.
Perhaps we need a "engauage brain first, then post" Forum rule?

If it works to sit the gal down and explain to her the details of your research and budgeting system, as previously suggested, then that's great -- but if it doesn't work it will actually make things worse. Pardon my contrarian bent in this post, but I don't actually think that much disclosure is a good idea: it gives away too much authority for you to be justifying things to that extent, and if you give her enough time she'll think of counters. What this argument is actually *about*, it seems to me, isn't money but authority. This is something you like, that she isn't in on, and she's threatened by that.
...
But I strongly if respectfully disagree that the thing to do is sit down with a tote-board showing how long you've been looking into the purchase and how you've independently worked out how to pay for it -- our friend with the camera may be in for a bit of a surprise when he tries that approach the *SECOND* time....
I see where you're coming from, but my situation wasn't quite like that, although I can see how it may have come across that way. I wasn't asking for permission, just explaining that her fears of me being some kind of "shopping addict" were misplaced. It's easy to be cynical about men with expensive hobbies being controlled financially by their wives & partners (& it's a conclusion I've jumped to myself on more than one occasion), but in this case the reality is not equal to the stereotype.

... now I'm thinking "methinks he dost protest too much"...
