longest period without upgrade(s)?

Hi there,
going through some other topics, I was wondering whether people upgrade regularly or whether they can resist the upgraditis bug for a long time. As far as I am concerned, I must have changed a component every other year since I have been into naim (1996). However, since the nac 52 arrived, I put an end to it, definitely. How about you?
Oh, and I don't count in stands, cables, cones, etc., just the boxes.
Regards

Bought my Naim amps in 1983 (42/110). Had them serviced last year and the 110 converted to a 140, still got the 42 (for now anyway)...

12 years with my rig.... 72/Hi/140, bought s/h from the guys at Cornflake (IIRC nearly new because the original owner upgraded to 52/SC). That was during my University days. Serviced by Naim May last year. Still going strong!
Last january gave in to upgraditis and replaced my meridian CDP with a s/h CDi which I thought was too good a deal to pass. Regards
