Track order on USB sticks

Posted by: SAT on 11 June 2010

G'day to all.Have made a few USB sticks for the ndac and they all seem to work ok. But, if I try to put more than one album on a stick (using max to convert flac to wav) I get track 1 of album 1 followed by track 1 of album 2 etc. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a workround?

Put each album in a separate directory and the DAC will play the directories in alphabetical order. I do it all the time.

I labelled the tracks as

01 Track Name
02 Track Name
.....
19 Track Name

no directories and the tracks played in the order I expected.

I use the same method and everything plays back in the right order. Places all files in root directory
