Many re-issued or re-mastered CDs are appearing with bonus tracks. The bonus tracks range from the horrible, should-have-stayed-on-the-cutting-room-floor (Lloyd Cole & The Commotions' "Rattlesnakes"), through the mediocre (David Bowie's "Hunky Dory") to the quite good such as Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" and the Wonderstuff's "Eight Legged Groove Machine".
Anyone got any recommendations for CDs which are worth seeking out in the bonus track version?
Cheers
John

No!
can`t think of anyone. IMO Bonus tracks usually don´t fill any purpose and should be excluded.
Better to do an extra cd with that for those who are fanatics or should I say big fans.
With bonus tracks I suppose you mean outtakes that were not intended too be on an album or single.
In Bowies case there is one though,if my memory is right, that is absolutetly meaningful.
I think that on Ziggy you got the single version of John I´m only dancing wich is far superior to the version on Changes one Bowie.
Im not absolutely shure because i dont owe any Bowie Cds (I prefer them on LPs )

The latest issue of Who's Next is packed with reissues, the quality of the remastering ist BTW excellent. FMOP I haven't heard the original vinyl version before and I really asked myself which one of the tracks might have been left out back then, they're just all brilliant !

Any of the Stevie Ray Vaughan Re-masters have excelent bonus tracks. Well worth the investment.
