Apparently Kesey was adamant that it stay put while the swamp reclaimed it. After he died, his son organized ~$100,000 to restore it and get it back out on the road, but last I heard it's still in the woods not very far from where I sit.

I've been to see it. I agree with Ken. Beautiful journey.
