Sods law is still alive and working. 16 days after my s/h 140's ranout, no/very soft LH channel. What to do for 3-4 weeks without sounds? Still I can make start on reorganising equipment on the support and catalogue my LPs etc.
Is it safe to run 72 and Hi-Cap without an amp and listen via tape monitor on head phones?
It seems the only way short of PC cd drive not much good for LPs though.
Are there any resonable H/Phones for around £50?

There is a used Nait2? on Loot at the moment for £120 - you could always buy that as a stopgap and then either sell it again for what (or more than) you paid for it, or use it as the basis of another system - just a thought - for wot it's worth

Amp worked OK at dealers, so put it back in my system and left channel missing. Swapped speaker leads ,right channel missing. Reverted both channels working? Suspect SNIAC 4 dealer didn't have a black one so will have to wait to prove. Anyway sounds again happy Howard.
