Headline

I take it you NEED a power supply with the Headline, I thought I read you could connect it straight to the CD player (I have a cd3.5)? I can't afford the full bundle.

Yes, you do, though this can be a NAPSC. I'm still trying to find out if you can power the preamp and a headline from the same Supercap - a question no-one seems to be able to answer.

mystik:
The newer black amps include a powered input (nr.6) for use with Stageline or Prefix phono stage. This one should also be able to drive a headline (but i don't know how good).

Chris:
It depends which connectors your preamp uses. You need a spare powered Din plug. Then it should work (also with a NAXO e.g.)
With a 82, both Dins are used. But the 52 uses only the burndy or the 102 takes only one Din.
But "cross-feeding" will shurely affect the performance. Officially Naim supports only one device per *Cap (I suppose).

happy listening

I have a Nait3 amp, does anyone know off hand if this amp has the mentioned connector to also run the headline?
