This is my Cannondale T2000 loaded touring bike. The photos were taken during a 3-week tour of Tasmania I took a few years back.
Rest of the photos HERE for those interested.

Lovely...what's the frame on the road bike?
I keep toying with a singlespeed, but I'm already a big gear churner and fear I'll blow out my aging knees.

I'll converted it into a singlespeed now. 53-17 is perfect.

From Les Gets. Nice bike that can do all.

Custom steel frame. SS or geared.
Bought a classic bike thats about 60 years old and in great shape. Can't wait until spring to ride it.

If you mean my ss/fixie rig that Surly Crosscheck frame. That is the bike I ride the most, really lovely machine that handles exceptionally well in the town and in the paths even considering the low cost of the frame. Before On One Ti 29er had also Surly Karate Monkey and have no bad word about it either.
Singlespeeds are not actually so hard on your knees that many people think. Especially with bigger tired 29ers you can really use your momemtum and driving rhythm to compensate missing gears. But then again riding with the geared friends this isn't always so easy thing to do and you have to give some thought to gearing ratios to find suitable compromise. But on the other hand nothing beats riding single speeds. Except riding fixed gears

I'm actually looking for some nice steel road bike for the next summer. Something classic with gears. Colnago, De Rosa etc..

I haven't posted a picture in a while, but here goes what should be my Specialized Roubaix Pro with a few dura-ace bits added. Lacks a bit of character in some way but it has worked perfectly for the last 2 or 3 years.

Btw, visited local Alleycat races this afternoon. Had much fun, weather was good and finished 2nd place
Anyone else visited this kind of happenings related to the bikes messengers and their traditional activities, alleycats, kofs or bikepolo.. ?

Work in progress on my old Viner from the 1980ish era. Viner were famed for their lugwork (short lugs), but not sure if it can be seen here. Stripped and painted in Aston Martin Old British Lamplight blue by Brian Rourke in Stoke. Just waiting for the Viner stickers from Italy then they'll go on with the clearcoat. Then the build up begins.

I have just bought a 1997 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp in near mint condition, it is a beauty & having thrown away the knobblies and fitted some semi-slicks it is now the Triumph Boneville of the lanes, so light & so fast.
