I read this week that the Gdansk vinyl is officially the best sounding live album ever. Can't remember where I read it but just goes to show that Mr Gilmour does things properly.
I have the set just need to get my turntable now to play it on.

anyone purchase the CD (DVD) sets as there appear to be numerous choices for this combination and there's even a 2 disc cd set.
What do you need in the other format to have all the music that's on the LP set

I got the 5 disc (3 CD & 2 DVD) box set...Beautifully done. Haven't yet watched the DVD's as I'm waiting for a 50" Pioneer to turn up, so I'm saving it for this !
If I remember from reading the track lists on all the various sets, I think it's the vinyl set that has the most music from the concert, if not the entire concert, I'm not sure....The 3rd CD in the 5 disc box set is comprised of various studio jams, other live versions and so on....
This whole album almost makes me want to purchase a turntable for this alone !
