yeah that was good, shows you don't have to have a foul mouth to make funny.
I had a friend who sent me a youtube of George Goebles on Johnny Carson with Dean Martin and Bob Hope. George had EVERYONE in hysterics, Bob did fall off the couch, but watch Dean the trickster and what he does. Funniest few minutes I've ever seen.

Cosby was so great at this point in his career. Ever see the Bill Cosby show, where he played Chet Kinkade (sic) the high school gym teacher? Funny show. I think he co-wrote the theme music, with Quincy Jones.
I have it on one of the "Mojo Club" series jazz discs. Hip & funky collection of various artists on CD.
Anyway, thought Cosby was spot on with his insight into the open jazz jams, and specifically playing the up tempo jazz ride cymbal . . . . no easy task.
