I too bought Mama Mia for my wife on blu-ray, the production really is fantastic, both video and audio. One observation I had is that in many scenes they seem to shine a bright light only on Streep's head.

Last night we gave Across the Universe a try...it was not as good but she loved it.

The production even on the DVD is very good indeed. I haven't even bothered to compare to the Bluray as it's so good on DVD!

The opposite to the "real" ABBA records of the 1970's then. They sound shite, but at least the singing was first class.

vinyl i heard one of the finist audio systems
put together and the guy put abba on to show me how good it was.
