He'd already had surgery by then. You need to look at the cover of Off the Wall or his best work, The Jacksons "Triumph",one year later, to see the last of the real Michael Jackson.

Yeah I had no time for his music or all the other baggage that went with him but at times like this if you don't want to say anything in sympathy silence is the dignified response.

Of course but freedom of speech can still be had with a little dignity and timing is everything as they say......... Some of the stuff I've read elsewhere is just spite and ill-mannered vitriol.

Respect is earned & IMO Jacko deserves little if any.

Jacko was an utter media whore, so commenting is reasonable IMO St'u.
If he had lived his life as a musical genius & recluse (like Thomas Fraser for example) you might have a point.
