Mekon,

That sounds like a good idea - how do you get the data into the pda in the first place?

I have a vision of me employing a student for a couple of weeks to go through and catalogue it all and type it into a PC. Smile

Good choice on the Peel sessions 10". If you like that, I think you'll love the Themselves album.

As for the PDA, it appears like an extra drive in explorer, so it's no different than moving a file.

On vinyl

Non-Prophets - Hope
Atmosphere - Seven’s Travels
Aesop Rock - Bazooka Tooth

This one's a little older than most on this thread but.....Chicago blues is timeless.

Mekon,
I'll be interested in any review you care to write about this.

I have last year's "Thought for Food". I'm very undecided about it, and in a weird way:
1/3 = really damn good
1/3 = ehh, o.k., kinda dull
1/3 = huh?

So I don't know whether to buy the latest.

I don't know yet- I haven't unwrapped it. Pitchfork isn't exactly the final word, but here's their review.
Posted on: 22 October 2003 by maxwellspeed
Pitchfork can, depending on the level of hangover of a particular writer, tear something to shreds. Absolutely hilarious sometimes. Other times they seem to have their "Indie Pants" in a wad.

Oh, by the way, don't know if you enjoy Grandaddy, but their show last friday at the Showbox was fookin incredible.
Posted on: 22 October 2003 by ErikL
Grandaddy is easily my favorite band right now. I decided not to go Mad, in an effort "to pinch pennies", but ended up going on a semi-expensive date. Smile

See your PT's.

Yes, I myself missed The Replacements in 1984 at a small pub in Nashville, TN on their Let It Be tour all in the name of a girl....oh, well.

Can't even remember if it was 'worth' it or not.
