Sure, blame me for Hymie's Basement, but The Pernice Bros wasn't me, honest.

Viktor Vaughn

Not bad, but not MFDoom's best work either.

Mekon, will we see a review of Soul Position?

Mike, I agree. King Geedorah is better IMO.

Recommended for electronica and post rock, and a coffee and bite. Rub-a Dub was good for techno and electro as well.

For my nieces who love B. Spears and 60's rock I bought for birthdays the Beatles' Rubber Soul and Sgt. Peppers then this Christmas Simon & Garfunkle Greatest Hits and PS's Rhymin Simon. Great tunes on the last one, enough to capture their short attention spans I hope. Definitly trying to tilt their taste toward good musicians. When they are 16 or so I'll try some Joni Mitchel and Emmy Lou Harris.

I'd like to see that version. Is he chased from pool to pool by Sheriff Buford T. Justice?

Gosh, David - I'm humbled that I've got something you haven't heard of!!

http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000005N05/qid=1072144131/sr=1-8/ref=sr_1_2_8/402-9391773-8399368

will give you all you need to know, with samples too - a shame that 'Singing In The Shower' or 'Live In Las Vegas' [best tracks] aren't available for listening. 'Hip Kit' gives you a flavour though, even if it does fade just as it gets good.

Cute French duo, videos by Pierre et Gilles, catchy synthy quirkiness with added Maels - you can't go wrong, really - just up your street. Eurofabness incarnate.

Did you catch Telex's Eurovision entry, 'Eurovision' [what else] at the time? Got a reaction a bit like Springtime For Hitler. Priceless.

Will check out 'Sex'. Sounds irresistible.

This release alone was one of the reasons why I had a 'widescreen' (well, only 42 inches of plasma) installed a couple weeks ago, replete with some Arcam electronics and Linn speakers-in a separate room from the Naim one. I know what I will be doing at midnight on NY eve- 'Clockwork Orange' comes on in HDTV; not to be missed.

"Throbbing Gristle - 2nd Annual Report

I own the regular, run of the mill version of this on vinyl and I think I've listened to it once in five years. I'm just wondering what the point of owning something pretty boring, except, er, recorded backwards is?
