David,
Good to have you back on the forum. I see you are still buying some industrial music - a Ministry purchase no less. Good stuff.

Have just found Pearl Jam's Lost Dogs when browsing on Saturday. Didn't even know it existed! Usual grown up Pearl Jam, but really not bad at all.
There are some tracks on there like Yellow Ledbetter which I have heard before, but don't know how or where. Anyone know if they have been out before?

Jeremy, No I didn't make it over to Berekley - I will have to save that up for another trip. I understand the other Amoeba is smaller than the Haight one.

I did do Amoeba, Rasputin, Streetlight, Grooves, Recycled, Tower, Virgin and Medium Rare (possibly the campest record shop in the world?).

Mekon, yes I like Sweet Exorcist too - It is a shame that the techno sub-genre 'Clonk' was so short lived. Clonk's coming didn't happen did it?

Simon - I picked up a few other industrials too, like the US remixes of Beers, Steers & Queers by the Revolting Cocks, with a live version of Public Image. There was a fair bit of the Ministry solo work about too - e.g. Lead into Gold, Luc Van Acker, Chris Connelly. One minor disappointment was the lack of any rare Chrome stuff in SF, thier home town - I was hoping to get a vinyl copy of Raining Milk, but so it goes - I did get some Helios Creed stuff to compensate.

ITC - Various Artists - Meat Beat Manifesto's Storm the Studio reconstructed and remade.

On vinyl

Diplo(docus) - Epistemology Suite
Stacs of Stamina - Cashew Fenny
Madvillain - Money Folder

If I say it's like the bastard child of RJD2 and Prefuse 73, you'll understand why I can strongly recommend the Diplo EP to Alex G., Ludwig, Matthew R., Nick Lees, Gary I. and Dev B. If you buy it from the ninja store, grab the NMS album at the same time. I can't promise you'll like that, but it needs to be heard.

Very enjoyable Ken. Live recording of slightly dubious quality but three marvellous hard bop entended work outs. Tubbs blows up a storm throughout. Any Tubbs originals you may have are worth a bob or two.I love evrything the man did.
