BTW who is Al Green?
The Reverend Al Green, soul singer, who I know best for 'Take Me to the River'.
Good to see another Peter Hammill fan here too.

Also, "Let's Stay Together", and "Tired of Being Alone". One of the great male soul voices, and my personal favourite. Here's a (typically idiosyncratic) performance of "Tired..."):

Enjoy (or not)!

I had never heard anything by Al Green - the name is not unfamiliar - I definitely don't remember the song Jamie recommended - liked it as well.
Thanks Nigel - I'll give that a listen.

Oh well I may be ugly, but I sure ain't weird.
