Hi I am very disorganised.
Despite a rapid expansion in my little green boxes from nought last yr after returning to the UK --I've only just contacted the AA who already insure the contents of my flat.
My system is
LP12/troika/aro/prefix/snaps2/cdi/72/hi/naxo 2-4/ hi/160/250/sbls--Mana
After reading a post a month or so ago I was waiting for an expensive shock--but the policy has no limits to the cost of any individual item/items as long as its in the household goods category --of which the hifi of any sort or cost is. So just added ~£10,000 to the total insured sum £10 a year extra.
Regards Richard
PS I live in a flat in **********, London

Ged is right on this one. I'm willing to bet that there's one or two lurkers that would pounce on anyone giving an address.
Everyone, double check your profiles too - I applaud those members who have "No man's land" in the 'From' header that is shown on every post - the archive should automatically update this header when you change your profile. Maybe Naim should offer some guidelines on this too.
I don't want to see the community spirit destroyed, but no-one wants 10 years of hard-earned investment wiped out.

Any lurkers will know that you don't need to put an address in your post. I had an argument with Vuk and the others about using real names here because of my concerns about this. If you use your real name and the area you are from the lurker can go to
www.192.com and find your address in 2 mins flat. If you have revealed your system details in a post or in your profile, he/she can even make a 'shopping' list beforehand. Have to go now, just going to look who has a 52/500 and find my balaclava....

Luckily I'm unlisted to keep those patient calls away when I'm on my third bottle of wine.
Even so private security guard(girlfriend) is in place.
The case of my 250 is now live to the mains as a last line of defence --hope it won't affect the sound quality.
Anyone see the supercap and new 250 being sold in the loot for £700 each---?too bargain a price--anyone lost any??

It doesn't matter that you are ex-directory, 192 will find you on the electoral roll - full address listed.

Luckily not on the electoral role yet at this address
Just to be sure--have however changed my identity and am hanging around in an off the shoulder cocktail dress(not formerly a desire of mine)--the chest wax was a horror!!
All the Naim gear is now wearing a Skoda badge.
All future posts will be under the name Ivana.

Does anyone else have any recommendations? I'm looking around at the moment, as my policy with Lloyds/Sun (how about zero service, eh?) is up for re-newal, and I think I can do better. Ususal stuff applies - a black box or two, and wanting new for old.
Rico - all your base are belong to us.
