Glad you like it.

going for lowdown back door porch blues, midnight rambler, live at montreux next. what do you think?

ATB

Paul

Paul, Midnight Rambler (it is on Charly who do not have a great reputation for
producing sonic masterpieces) is also called Winter & Summer Sessions which is usually cheaper.

Montreux and Midnight are acoustic. Lowdown Porch is electric.

Jethro Tull - Original Masters (1969-1971
This group is new to me (thanks Howard), i hear elements of Steeleye Span and the The moody blues in their music.

Bat For Lashes - Two Suns
Finding it hard to catagorise this CD.
Some of the tracks sound like early Toyah?
Vocals wise, may be a bit of Kate Bush and Bjork can be heard also?

Just my opinion, i'm most probably totaly wrong.

Having a bit of an African day. All eBay purchases on cassette £0.99 each. A bargain for such terrific music.

Keano,

Not sure if it is or is not, but I enjoy this as well.

One of my sisters brought it back from New York for me when it came out (1993) and I was originally less than impressed. However one of the great things about the iPod shuffle function is that it throws up things that you have forgotten about or do not play very often. Through this I rediscovered it and now really like the music. The lyrics are of course completely outrageous.

Playing Apple Venus from Apple Box, because the bard from swindon writes exceedingly good tunes.

I'm not alone then. An album from my teens and it still makes me smile. a friend of mine can rap every word of the album. The album is a riot from start to finish - and yes completely outrageous Eek
