Byrdland - Charlie Byrd High Flying with the Trio, Quartet & Quintet.

Because it fits the mood of a lovely day before being entertained for lunch.

On vinyl and I did have the CD version for a while, the vinyl is just better so is it the mastering or the superiority of the vinyl format. I'll let you decide but the CD sounded excellent.

On Vinyl

Down-tempo, instrumental trip-hop, whatever you want to call it, beautiful listening experience. Highly recommended.

If you want to get adventurous David try Kieran Hebden's later work if you have already what do you think?

or try some of Kieren playing with his mates (including Adem if you've heard of him) in the band Fridge, quality instrumental Post Rock.

On Vinyl

Everything from hip-hop to house to reggae to trip-hop is touched upon in this album, every mood from upbeat to chill is covered, and every track is distinct and exquisitely performed.
