Hi David, I have the four Cara Dillon albums, as well as the Redcastle Sessions DVD. For me Sweet Liberty is her best. Seeing her at The Lowry, Manchester, in June and again in September at the Moseley Folk Festival. Really looking forward to those two!

I only have Sweet Liberty and After the Morning, and have not heard Hill of Thieves. SL is a mix of new and traditional songs, she writes with Sam? Lakeman (piano), there are various lightly accompanied and some with extra musicians, pipes ,bass etc.
I'd give it foive.
I'll probably pick up HofT on Thursday at the gig.

I think I was in the queue for burgers when Chas & Dave come on.
I had forgotten we had seen Fairport too(didn't like them then).

If you have not heard Christy Moore live, you have not heard him at his best.
