Pretty good I think
I played it this weekend and like it a lot.

One of the few artists where I am a close to being a "completist". Although admittedly, Ghostyhead doesn't get a lot of laser-time.
I remember hearing her first album on late night JJ radio in Australia. I'd never heard anything like it. A candidate for the best debut anywhere, anytime, by anyone. I've been a fan ever since. I also loved the way she neatly sidestepped the "difficult second album" with the extraordinary "Pirates". A stunning record in every way.

"Long coats on the prairie....Lying in the dust....
Who can I turn to?......Who can I trust?
Were you're walking in the water? Playing in the sun?
But the world is turning faster than it did when I was young."

A late night laid back music. The first time I listened to this record on a Sondek/Briks. A natural sounding voice yet so rhythmically coherent.

I have the XRCD but it didn't capture me when I first got it, maybe it's time to give it another listen.

Great choice, even after all these years I never get tired of it.

You have got to try the two Aliens albums...
I have Astronomy For Dogs and enjoy it. Is Luna as good or better?
I like them both - slightly different in that overall Luna comes across as a bit more crafted while Astronomy rocks out a little bit more but Luna has that share of it too and you just sit there with a grin over your face (having just turned it up...) going Yeah! This is Great!!!

Jamie,
Thanks for the Luna review, it's a bit out of reach at the moment but I will get it. Music that makes you smile is always welcome here, as normally melancholy rules
