A good result but not a great deal of action.

Gordon, I have listened a bit more to the new Tori Amos and I like it a lot. Of the Tori I own my favorite has been the Welcome To Sunny Florida live dvd with John Evans and Matt Chamberlin in support. Essentially this is similar to that, a Tori Amos Band recording. As in the Sunny Florida release, these songs/arrangements create a near trance-like sound that I just get lost in - I love the ensemble sound of these three players together.

RE: songs, concept (of which I hear little but not sure it was meant to be a concept-type album), production - it certainly works for me, how it might "compare" to other of her releases and her other songs is not a critique I would choose to undertake. That is where I struggle with putting into words the "why" of listening, I simply like this.

Mark - the album I am playing now, At Home is pretty good and the first one of his I bought back in 2005.

These two are worth getting. This live album is excellent and comes with a DVD of the show (not an expensive production but worth seeing).

This is also a very good album.

Have fun!

Recently bought the cd of this as my vinyl copy has been consigned to the loft for a good few years now. Played it yesterday, brought back a few memories.

Lontano - thanks for the recommendations. More expense. Smile By the way, do you have "Aurora"?
