You have had a good run of CD's today. Did you like Gateway and Stenson?

The Burton/Metheny album is good. I am looking forward to this new release from the guys next week.

Two of my favourite HDCD recordings...

Hejira - Joni Mitchell

Fire In The Hole - Sing Steely Dan (Rebecka Törnqvist and Sara Isaksson). If you are a Steely Dan fan, this is highly recommended. These recordings are simple with mainly piano/fender rhodes and stunning voices of Rebecka & Sara. The vibe created draws you into the words and tunes of the great Donald & Walter.

Here are some comments from the Radio Dupree blog.

Oh, Yes, The Stenson is utterly sublime music to get lost in.
