My first listen to this much-loved album since my 250 came back from full service 3 weeks ago. I know the album well, and it has ably demonstrated just what the servicing has done. (Approximately, it's like adding a SC)

Disc 9 from the collected Casals set, essentially a compilation of encore pieces. Incredible virtuosity and insight, married to a deep soulfulness. Wonderful cello playing.

Now this takes me back!

Samples sound quite good for this album. Released on 1st June but earlier if you want to get a copy from Fish Records.

You could try Neu Harmony Records which i think was the original release (NH007).
