John Cale's Vintage Violence: one of those Amazonian bargains and it is very very good - don't worry that Rolling Stone magazine's Ed Ward said it sounds like a Byrds album produced by Phil Spector marinated for six years in burgundy, anise and chili peppers - this really is good no nonsense pop music from 1970.

Just finished putting a BBQ together. What a pissy job. A little relaxation before some late lunch. I'll join in the FM lovefest.

Will need another play before a verdict. Got a good review in Jazzwise though.
