Sent a load of vinyl away to be cleaned and they arrived back yesterday. This is one of the ones I played last night. Some great tracks on it - all downhill afterwards though....

DrMark,

I share with you, Jethro Tull as my first ever concert at the Village Roundhouse, Dagenham. As the gig was in 1969 and 7 June might have been the date, I can't remember who would have supported. This venue was normally a Bingo Hall connected to the pub and on Saturday nights a 'Rock' venue. This formed my musical upbringing in pub/progressive/folk/space rock during the 70's. As the venue only catered for approx 300 freak dancers Big Grin, the gigs were always an event. I even got on the stage once with the Edgar Broughton Band during 'out demons out' Red Face. There is a film currently being made about the Village Blues Club here and if completed it would bring back fond memories.

Anyone tried Lisa Hannigan?

(Mrs JWM mentioned her, and I thought I'd ask here first.)

I had a listen to some samples on her website and promptly ordered the album. Very nice indeed.

Thanks to Mrs JWM.

Like me and Kate Walsh.

As for the TD I've just played it through twice. I think it's definitely "mood" music.
