I love this album. It just has so much music, melody, heaviness, challenge, mood, rock, beauty, atmosphere all in one album. For me, their best piece of work. And the more you listen, the better it gets...

I'm a little ambivalent about 76:14 Matt one minute I think its a masterpiece and another time I feel its flawed its Dr Alex Pattersons fault listened to too much ORB at the time it was released. But I do know what you mean.

Was stumbling around the web, went from Abigail Washburn to Crooked Still to this:
faint echoes of Bill Frisell in the approach, amazing how many of these tunes are familiar.

Good Heavens. You're the first person I've known who had even heard of this album.

In those days Temple of the dog and Alice in Chains were the crowd in my car's stereo.
I wanted to feel the SBLs effect!

Re Mono - they tour the UK and Europe regularly and I recommend a listen in person. Kind of chamber music meets heavy rock. Beautifully crafted and powerful. Exhilirating!

If anyone else is trying to do a Residual Valuation of Profit or a Discounted Cash Flow with accompanying board report then i suggest this, its helping me get through!

A great guitar album though I am not sure I would call it "soft work". Another exceptional and softer one (in terms of music and sound) is:
