Lee Morgan - Lee-Way. I am trying out the Steve Hoffman remastered Analogue Productions SACD release versus the Rudy Van Gelder remaster release. The Hoffman is about four times the price and a bit smoother. But for me the RVG release has a bit more life in it, grooves a little more. Yes it is a bit louder but I can turn the volume down. It certainly does not make me think I need to but any more of the Hoffman SACD's.

After a late evening barbeque, some fine listening, culminating with this.
