I played this last night on redbook and it did nothing for me. Will not be ordering the MOFI. Maybe I was in the wrong mood.

It is my favorite Rickie Lee Jones - the Mofi's SQ and detail is absolutely amazing.

Sold might need to egt 2 copies now since it is alos my fav Rickie Lee disc.

There is a lot of wind on that cover picture for just the humble recorder! ; )

Debs,

Unfortunately (or fortunately) musicians are not able to adjust their playing style according to the disc's covers.. Hoever, Marion Verbruggen's recorder is always full of energy, grace and speed. Hopefully you have some of her recordings. Her Telemann solo works on Harmonia Mundi is outstanding but out of print.

Yes, Michala Petri is an excellent recorder player too imho! : )

Without checking my collection: (and whilst i scrub clean lots of interesting old vinyl), i now have this playing in the background...

I like this one ! More of a raw feel compared to " where the light is " .
But yet another record company that doesn't include decent inner sleeves to protect their albums .
