NIN - Fragile

Now: The Merlons - Sinn Licht

Was: The Merlons - Water, Naked, Nature

Why? I fancied some German folk/Goth/medieval metal.

This is known as Dub Techno it just floats through your consciousness like a beautiful girls fingers stroking your hair on a warm summers day.

Hilarious sleeve notes by Alvin Lee, apologising for the first two albums and explaining that he wasn't sure if the third album, Stonedhenge worked on not - however, he said they had really learnt how to use the studio and had added effects and noises to get the best out of these songs - no matter Alvin: Stonedhenge is now regarded as a classic and Ssssh is every bit as good; I liked the first album too so no excuses required. TYA were a great band; even if that idiot on BBC4 who did the British blues boom thought otherwise. Ssssh is an excellent progressive rock/blues elpee. The best TYA elpee is probably Watt, but most of their records are worth a spin or two or three or four or more.

Still sounds as wonderful as when it first came out - I have had this vinyl elpee for over 35 years - if you haven't ever heard it you should - Grace has never sounded better.
