Throw open the windows, let some air in, grab a bottle and crank this ear candy right up...your neighbours may not thank you. Try some Swarfiga.

Mesmerizing, utterly mesmerizing. I am firstly a music fan, then a piano fan, then a jazz fan and then a hifi fan and this guy ticks all the boxes.

IMHO Kuhn's pedigree is without question and his phrasing is ethereal and seductive and avante garde (whatever that means) and intense and wonderful. His attention to detail is like Art Tatum slowed by a factor of 10. In short, he forms a cymbiosis between human and piano which is staggering in it's intimacy.

Just checked and I have 15 of their albums and I should probably get them out and play them a bit more. I like Northwest Passage. The track Claridade is one of my favourites. Troika is good as well. Beyond Words I think is one Stefan likes a lot. Crossing on ECM and Distant Hills are well regarded. Stefan is placed to recommend some more.

Both artist's have produced great tunes and album covers.

I think Robert might have had the edge with female admirers though Smile

Thanks Adrian. I had no idea they'd made so many. Good to hear Ralph Towner with such a sympathetic group of musicians. Where is Stefan these days?
