Do they sound different? It is a superb relaxing album - made my train journey home tonight go in a flash.

On Spotify as I only have the vinyl and no turntable.

Goblin - 70's soundtrack to a horror film - Italian Prog/Synth sounds.

Goblin are an Italian progressive rock band known for their soundtracks for Dario Argento films (including Deep Red of 1975, also known as Profondo Rosso, and Suspiria of 1977).
They were initially named Cherry Five and were influenced by Genesis and King Crimson. Their early work spawned one eponymous progressive rock record. The band were then called in as replacements for composer Giorgio Gaslini, who had left the film Profondo Rosso after a conflict with director Dario Argento. They changed their name to Goblin and rewrote most of the score, including the famous main theme. The film, and the soundtrack album, were huge hits.

Do you have any? This one is a bit different from their other albums in that they have a vocalist on it. Live they do not.

It was not until MilesSmiles and I went to see them live on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon in a Sydney jazz club, that I realised just how good they were. The live experience is so much better than the studio albums, but the studio albums are still good.

I saw them again a few weeks ago at the Royal Festival Hall and it was awesome. Look forward to their October show.

Also, if you do not already have it try Prog.

The albums are all on Spotify to try.

Last album of the night. The kids are asking me to go and sleep with them in a tent in the back garden for the night. It's an offer I am not allowed to refuse Roll Eyes

How many versions of FBR can one have? The Cisco anniversary releases are excellent but after years of searching I finally have the ultimate version from Classic Records on CD. Cool
