Little Feat: Waiting for Columbus.
'78 Release. Original US Warner Bro issue.

I can't wait for the upcoming MOFI version. But this record sounds great on the Lp12/Briks. Big Grin
The best intro of all time.

I just got the first Japanese pressing on CD a short while back, it's the 22P2 from 1989.

Miles,

Is it better than the US pressing?

I would say so but it's not as dramatic as with some other titles on CD. You can still find it on the cheap on e-bay.

The catalogue number is 22P2-3118.

Mettle Music's Honeycomb Lounge

Thanks Miles. I thought that the US version was pretty good tho. I have to pause a bit on some of the Japanese releases as sometimes, they are worse than the original US release or reissues!

Not a lot to say about this - just really great music and well worth a listen. I think I shall be checking out a lot more of his music in the near future.

I've been listening to this quite a lot during the past few days even though I don't normally like compilations. This one really captures some of his best output during the late 70s, though, and is a great introduction to his music for those unfamiliar with it.

Very cool, can't compete before 1982 (at least on CD Winker). I have a few of the old 50s recordings on vinyl and hope they survived all the moves well.
