Check on Monday but I'm not sure the whole stock was out on show in the foyer on Friday. I definitely heard someone say there where more (Phantom Limb)albums in the stock room, so there may have been others too.

I'm not ewemon, but....

The first Little Feat I ever heard was their live album "Waiting For Columbus". It has a great version of "Dixie Chicken" (I also recommend the album of the same title) and it's a good introduction to their work.

But I would also recommend "Time Loves A Hero", "Feats Don't Fail Me Now", "Sailin' Shoes", and "The Last Record Album".

Susanna and her Magical Orchestra - 3

From today's Independent

Karen Carpenter meets Joy Division in gothic synth-pop heaven. The cult Norwegian duo's third album more than upholds their excellent standards while offering a further twist to the tale - a full conversion to beyond-the-pale 1980s keyboard sounds.

Not all the 10 songs here are equally good but at its best – "Recall","Someday", "Palpatine'sDream", a beautiful cover of Roy Harper's "Another Day" – this is truly awe-inspiring music, provoking deep thoughts and sublime feelings.

Last night was dedicated to Pink Floyd (Umma Gumma, DTOTM, Obscured by Clouds), so I start with Atom Heart Mother, now (although "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" woudl fit better. Topic wise...)
