Seen a load of good bands in concert, but of the modern day crowd, these have to be just about the best.

Grados 30 hrs into burn in and starting to sound very good indeed.

46 minutes of exquisite music recorded 47 years ago. In a rare quintet form, with Jim Hall & Freddie Hubbard (guitar & trumpet), Bill Evans dances through the tunes in unusual brighter tempo and energy.

Why? Well I just love Brahms and have many special memories of these Piano Trios....

Why? Well I guess I could blame a certain Mr. Geoff P. but I won't. Somehow he managed to pick my pocket and make me poorer by auto suggestion or something. Winker Actually, I have every other recording of Angela Hewitt and planned on adding this at sometime but was holding off. I was suspicious of the Fazioli and after listening to Book I, I still am undecided about the sound of it. Sometimes I like it and other times I am not so fond of it.

Whatever the case, this is exceptional Bach playing and such a joy to listen to....
