Dunno if folk have caught this chap live, but he's excellent and all his albums great (if I was being picky he seems a bit over-tutored). Apologies for the big snap.

Whilst looking for the Simply Red I stumbled across these others which I hadn't listened to for a while. I was never a big fan of Simply Red, but this is a very nice sounding slab of vinyl and I love their version of Heaven.

This was in the CD player this morning (am I in trouble for leaving it in overnight?), pressed play and thought blimey, not on a Sunday morning but rather enjoying it now...

Testing out my rarely used headphones with this. The Grados sound better than the Senns.

I like the EST I've heard. What would you recommend as two disks as an intro?

A current favourite...Munch was spot on, the quality on vinyl is superb (the width good an'all).

Mat, they have done a lot of good albums. Two I would recommend to try are

From Gagarins Point of View (the title track is my favourite of theirs) from their earlier period and Seven Days of Falling which is more recent.

You could just as easily try Viaticum, Tuesday Wonderland, Strange Place for Snow and Good Morning Susie Soho.

Do not start with their final release Leucocyte - that is for later.

They are on Spotify, so if you feel that gives you a good listening experience then it is a good place to try them out.

Enjoy.

Cheers
Adrian

Milk and Honey Band - The Secret Life of the Milk and Honey Band

Morning Adrian, how are you getting on with Dog Eared Moonlight?. This earlier CD is equally as good, with more great Pop tunes.

When I first tried it out on the web, well it was OK. Now I have the CD I think it is a very good album. Simple, easy, good quality, tuneful pop/rock. I like it.
