CD 1 is all menacing Drum 'n' Bass that'll sort out your bass drivers big time. A wonderful lesson in the sublime intricacies of drums and bass firing along at 174 beats per minute, KILLA. Big Grin

I think the album cover says it all and for me still the most evocative style of music ever made its neither then, now, or the future. It takes me somewhere else completely and I like that place allot.

I find Jarrett's "singing" on this CD oddly endearing (it usually niggles me).

When I saw the trio the other week, he did some nice singing, body contortions and some rather quaint dancing all whilst playing the piano. It was rather amazing to watch.

It is closer to genius, because it is simple, in my view. A piece like "Spiegel im Spiegel" is musically trivial (forgive, thou experts…), but it touches my soul. And that is all that counts for me. In Principio travels that road.

There is a lot of room there. What is it closer to, trivial or genius?

I own a few Part discs but the only one which I keep coming back to is Alina.
