Pres and Teddy and Oscar - a compilation of Lester Young's performances in small groups with pianists Teddy Wilson and Oscar Peterson. The up tempo numbers on this album swing like mad while the ballads feature some of the most polished and soulful playing I've ever heard. I've not been able to take it off the platter so far today.

I had heard that George Martin said he felt the production credits on the original should read "Produced by George Martin, overproduced by Phil Spector" - which on certain cuts is definitely true.
That said, I think George's solo on the title cut of the original is better than the Naked version.

I really like this album; has some cool covers, including one of an extended version of "Dear Prudence"

I concur. It's not clear. Some tracks on the naked version stand out (LAWR), but some are othwerwise. Agree w.r.t. George's solo on LIB.

Anatomy of Murder Soundtrack: Duke Ellington and his Orchestra.
'59 Release. The original Columbia 6 eyes. Mono.
The entire tunes were composed by Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. ( Lushlife )
A wonderful album. The film wasn't bad either but I can't remember a darn thing except the opening animation done by Saul Bass and the music through out. :x

Cal Tjader: In a Latin Bag
'61 Release. Original US Verve pressing. Stereo.
