I'm very tempted to buy "Radiance" next; how do you rate that?
Radiance is fine but not my favourite. I prefer Jarrett solo on the long 30 minute improvisations but these days he goes for intense short pieces. So that is what you get on Radiance. Some brillaintly beautiful bits others not so. I would be interested in Stefan's opinion as I know he has played this quite a few times. The new testament solo album out Oct 5th will be short pieces as well.
Personal Mountains would be a lot higher up my purchase list. Look at www.jpc.de where there is a fair amount of ECM albums going for EUR 9.99.

The title song is gorgeous, with a wonderful classical guitar introduction. The intro is so delicate, with the glockenspiel . Then when the song kicks in, it's quinessential Rush.

This is a disc I have not played much and I am really enjoying. Thanks for the prod!

So you like this album then? Twice today. A real shame this seems to be the only recording this guy made as it is outstanding.

The first Rush I ever heard, and still one of my favourite live albums.

I rather like it. It does come over like Tubular Bells in places, but then again it is different enough too, and does sound a bit dated as Mike Oldfield stuff does from the '70's
It's good for £3! ...it's also very good for the £2 it cost me from Sainsbury’s ; )

Your Sainsbury's a lot better than our 2, not a single album under a £5.
