Playing this on the train home tonight. Have not played this album for many years and I think that probably reflects the fact that whilst I appreciate the importance of early Beatles and really like the hits, the rest of the music does not excite me a whole lot. As a result I have cancelled my purchase of the mono boxset as it will just gather dust on the bookshelf. I really get interested in the Beatles from Revolver onwards and stereo will keep me more than happy.

My novice ear for the classics feels that Jean Sibelius is a great way to into Classic for the uninitiated, easy on the ear and mind with great melody and emotional impact an instantly likable composer for me. Listening to Symphony #3 & #7 on Vinyl Decca Ace Of Clubs.

Bass guitarist from Jeff Beck's live at Ronnie Scott's CD. Fantastic stuff.
