tim bowness / peter chilvers - overstrand

A companion release to 2002s critically regarded 'California, Norfolk', 'Overstrand' is a collection of remixes, live performances and rare outtakes. Some really beautiful tracks here, unfortunately now out of stock.

On vinyl:-

It's just like the '60s, a warped album, manufacturer or shop storage?

Dear Howard,

I had forgotten just what an utterly rubbish idea vinyl was!

Warping records can happen at any stage and it is most frustrating.

Sorry to read of you woes, and hope you will soon convert to a replay system without such horrible issues, which really ought to be history by now.

ATB from George

These Japanese releases of the Doobie Brothers albums sound fabulous.

Give it a rest George, as I said before when there is a system that plays better than vinyl, I'll change.

At the beginning of this year, this album was being portrayed as the 2009 Elbow. Not as good as that album and so far not as successful.

Judy Dyble - Talking With Strangers

This is an album that will slowly draw you in, with the epic 19-minute Harpsong concluding the journey through Judys' music-less years. If you want a change of pace from squarepusher, then this is right up your street Winker

I have wired the kitchen for sound with Airport Express, amp and speakers. Transmitting across the airwaves from itunes, loud selections from PT whilst cooking a Rick Stein Fish Curry.

Great bit of black stuff.

I have never had the pleasure of listening to UFO, so I now am playing this on the ever wonderful Spotify.
