This is a great album from Sakamoto - all sorts in this - nothing like his soundtracks - more of a pop/funk/jazz album. Brings back many memories from 94.....

Whats the vinyl like? Is it a nice thick good recorded pressing?
Not really. It's a Capitol issue so don't expect a great sound and hope for the quiet copy.
If you want a good Sinatra, new MOFI records are pretty darn good. Hoping they'll release more of Sinatra's Capitol years albums.

The Yardbirds and Herbie on the same record - what's not to like?
The
groovy bassline from Herbie's track Bring Down The Birds was later sampled on Deee-Lite's Groove Is in the Heart.

Bullitt original Soundtrack. Lalo Schifrin
'68 Release. Warner Brothers German pressing. Stereo.
A nice mix of jazz, bossa, and groovy grooves.
The Salsoul Orchestra Anthology.
'94 Release. Limited Edition Box Set. Unfortunately they are all digitally remastered.
'70s disco at its best.

Jeff,
Did you get the Cold Play?
Not received anything, Stu, as of today, Friday.
Hope you're feeling a little better, though I expect the hour/time there is due to the drugs. Sucks, I know what it is like.
Take care of yourself. I will let you know when I see something
