Kim Kashkashian, viola
Robert Levin, piano
One of my favourite ECMs in recent years - a lovely album, especially if you like the sound of the viola.

What a great and relaxed album:
Keith Jarrett Trio - The Out of Towners
Just listen to the drum "solo" in "I live you" - which cannot be more minimalistic, and says it all, at the same time.

I think I may have missed out on this one. Is it "Rush like" or completely different in the same way as Lifeson's 'Victor'?
Thanks

Inspired by Haim:
(extraordinary on that disc: The two short versions of "Only". Spine shivers !)

Steve I have missed Victor so direct comparison is impossible.
It's not un-surprisingly Rush like in places, he does some different arrangements and rhythms. I quite like it ,but I only paid a couple of ponds for it, I don't think I'd recommend spending a lot on it. I don't think a general Rush fan would be offended by it.
It's bit difficult to "hide" his voice, so he will always be a bit Rush like.

This one's never out of the player at the moment, think I'll have to get the vinyl.
I highly recommend the MOFI vinyl.
