Adrian, it's funny to see what you listen to in Skype and only shortly after that on this forum. Interesting effect...

You are hiding from me on Skype tonight so I cannot check out your listening.

You don't need to have a Mariah Carey voice to be able to make beautiful
music.

Tremendously ugly cover (for ECM standards), but great interplay:

Enjoy Clayhill Denis, Wish i was there :-)

Richard,

It was sadly the last Clayhill gig. Ted Barnes said that they could not survive financially. How sad that their final set lasted only 45 minutes, due to the schedule of the 100 gig, 3 day event. Hopefully Gavin Clarks' solo album, produced by Ted will get released and they get to play live again. Oh and The Leisure Society were fanbloodytastic. Nick Hemming has an amazing voice & Christian Hardy, his co-writer was also excellent. Nick said that his first paid gig in London was with Clayhill, so this event had some thought behind it. The venue Kings Place, round the corner from KingsX Stn was outstanding.

Denis - I have been to a few events there and it is very nice and civilised. Good to see that area "up and coming".

Stefan - you cannot see me play this one on itunes. This one needs the full system - solo bass work from Peacock

Not as solo as I had thought - Jan Garbarek has just appeared on track 2

Gordon,

It is that simple; if you enjoy Epigraphs you will really like this one:

An it is an ECM as well.

Haim

Beautiful, simply beautiful...so confident and independant but so in need of validation?

By the way, Gordon, this wonderful music is only A step of the black cat.

It seems that the last dozen albums I bought from eBay.com have gone missing (on the UK side I have to say). I have been offered a refund by the seller but I really wanted those albums! Still I have done approx 500 sales through fleabay and this is the first problem.
